Age Range

The survey was conducted among 103 randomly selected women of varying ages in the Santa Cruz area. Fifteen point five percent (16) of the women who participated were in the 13 – 18 age range while 19.4% (20) were between the ages of 19 – 24. The women in the 25 – 30 age range represented 20.4% (21) of the participants in the study. Women 31 years and over accounted for 44.7% (46) of the study. There were therefore approximately twice as many women who were 31 years and over than there were women who were 19 – 24 and 25 – 30 years old in this survey. These women represented almost half of the total number of participants in the survey.
